Clarifications and Rulings

The following are "official" PBT rulings that have come up at past tournaments. In all cases, the Puffing Billy conductor is the one who makes final decisions regarding rules clarifications.

General Rules

The use of the three optional rules are in effect for tournament play.

Forced Train Purchases:If a company has no train, but has enough money in the treasury to buy the cheapest train in the bank, a player may not voluntarily contribute more money from their hand to purchase a more expensive train.
