THIRD TRIAD

Battle Luck

Description
For the duration of the scene, the celestial upon whom this force is used will find himself incredibly lucky in combat. A roll of 2 (double ones) will no longer be an automatic or grievous failure. It should be stated, though, that such a roll could still result in failure, just not quite so bad. Additionally, a roll of 19 and 20 are considered automatic successes and incur the corresponding bonuses.

Battle Prowess
Level: 2
Aspect: Power
Duration: Scene
Forms: Divine, Hidden
Description
The blows the child of fire reigns on his opponent come faster and more furious than thought possible. Few celestials of equal or lower rank will be able to cope with the onslaught. While under the influence of this force the chance of doing more serious damage to an adversary is greatly increase.

Optional Rules
For storytellers wishing to represent this force in mechanical terms, apply the following rule. If the angel rolls a 10 on one or both of the dice used for the combat roll, that die is rolled again. The resulting number is added on top of the original roll.

Armor of God
Level: 3
Aspect: Power
Duration: Scene
Forms: Divine, Hidden
Description
The angel is enveloped in a suit of gleaming holy armor. This is for celestials what the force Toughness is for the children of clay. Though it does not effect who wins or loses a conflict, it does have a bearing on how bad of a beating an angel will take if he loses. A +5 is granted to the celestial’s vigor score for purposes of combat comparison only. This makes the angel even harder to vanquish or destroy.


SECOND TRIAD

Divine Army
Level: 4
Aspect: Power
Duration: Scene
Forms: Divine, Hidden
Description
The angel is able to increase the effectiveness of an entire army in battle. The recipient army will be harder to kill and more effective when attacking. The effects only last for one battle and then the troops are returned to normal. The force can only be used on armies of mortals, not celestials

Optional Rules
All members of the target army gain a +1 Health and +1 Athleticism for the duration of the battle.
